Duinroos Dune Cottage on Schiermonnikoog

We stayed in the week of 30 August to 3 September in the holiday home at De Oorsprong, what a beautiful location where you can normally unwind.

The children can play in the stable and with all the space around you, it is a real holiday with Freerk and Marieke. We were completely pampered by them and this accommodation is highly recommended for young and old, whether you want to go camping or stay in a holiday home, everything is possible there!

Had a fantastic weekend on Schier!!! We were in a flat in the large farmhouse which is normally rented out for groups, of course. As a result, it may have been furnished somewhat simply, but everything you need is amply provided and the space in and around the farm for the children 1 big party! We had a dormitory upstairs with no fewer than 10 bunk beds for the four of us, so plenty of room ;-). Also so nice that the children are always allowed to walk into the barn, which is of course very exciting ;-). The price/quality ratio is excellent, so as far as we are concerned, we highly recommend it, especially for staying with children!

We celebrated our wedding here for a weekend with 160 guests, many of whom also slept at the accommodation. Perfect facilities, very pleasant and friendly contact with the owners and also nothing but praise from the guests for this fine location. All kinds of extras such as furnished tents, sheet packs and luggage service are possible. Highly recommended on this beautiful island.
