The possibilities of getting married are endless
The supporting beams and double roof give a nostalgic and familiar feeling. This space is the place to get married on Schiermonnikoog. A band, a DJ, play your own music. A bar, a buffet, dinner? Self-catering, catering, or eating at one of the beach pavilions? Still prefer just a party venue? It's all possible.
We have experienced many different weddings at our farm over the past years and they were all different, but special. There is actually a suitable solution for every wish.
At least the farmhouse and ballroom are equipped with:
- A beamer
- A screen
- A music system and disco lighting.
In short, everything for a banging party.
Our ballroom can accommodate up to 150 people.
From small to larger...
You can celebrate your wedding from as little as 20 people. We have for 100 people sleeping accommodation in the various accommodations. So even larger groups can simply stay overnight!
The farm also has two separate holiday homes next to it. These are often used by the immediate family. Just that extra bit of privacy!
After all, what could be better than dining together, partying together, taking a nighttime beach walk and then being able to crawl straight into bed.
The next morning, we provide a communal breakfast so that everyone leaves the island with filled stomachs too.
One day is a bit short...
Increasingly, we are being asked whether that typical island feeling can be enjoyed for longer. This is no problem either! Make it a complete wedding weekend. Especially for this, marrying on Schiermonnikoog at De Oorsprong is ideal! Plenty of possibilities and relatively affordable!
