As soon as you step off the boat, you are in for a treat. The cosy village of Schiermonnikoog, but also the beautiful nature and beaches. You will find us on the quiet eastern side of the island, on the edge of one of the dune and salt marsh areas that the island has. However, there is only a small group of people who have actually experienced mudflat hiking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wadlopen on Schiermonnikoog is an activity for young and old. Wadlopen is a unique and nature-friendly sport in which anyone with a reasonable to good physical condition can participate. Schiermonnikoog is pre-eminently the island to go mudflat walking. On your own initiative or in cooperation with an experienced guide, you can walk on the mud flats.
